Get to Know Your Trainer
I’m Victoria, the founder of Serial Lifters LLC. I was born in the middle of the nowhere Eureka, California and grew up in the forgotten borough of Staten Island, New York. I have been working out for 5 years in a variety of environments from commercial gyms, CrossFit garages, to competitive Hyrox training facilities. I have participated in numerous variations of races - half marathon, Hyrox Singles, 5ks, 100+ story stair-climb races, 5k obstacle course races. I have been an active EMT since 2018 and have been working as an EMT for FDNY since 2020. I am proudly a part of the LGBTQ community as well as a spiritual person. I love to hike whenever I get a chance. I am big on mental health and motivating my clients to be better with every workout. I have Celiac Disease which means I am allergic to the wonderful carbs life has to offer. I love to indulge in a book that teaches about either the mind, body, or soul. I strive to continue learning about what I’m passionate for; not only to better myself, but in hopes that I can leave a lasting, meaningful impression for those who will give me the chance!
Why did I Become a Personal Trainer?
I have had the privilege to work as an EMT across all of the boroughs that make up New York City. My work has taught me how to provide medical and emotional care for all kinds of people of various backgrounds. Nicely speaking, my career has mainly revolved around responding to those at their worst moments and giving it my all to help them. I kept wondering, “what more can I do, other than showing up when it’s close to or is too late?” I soon realized I could help others by providing preventive care as a Certified Personal Trainer. By correcting muscle imbalances and postural distortions, and strengthening the core and other muscle groups, I can help others prevent injuries. We can maintain adequate health through fitness and improve their mood by getting them to move, release those endorphins, and build overall confidence. I hope I get the opportunity to provide you with the same level of care that I did for myself when I had to start my fitness journey from Phase 1!
